HAWKESBURY AND
VINEYARD PRECINCT
Vineyard Precinct and the Hawkesbury City Council have experienced significant changes in
zoning and population over the years. As the region continues to grow and develop, the council
has undertaken rezoning initiatives to accommodate new residential and commercial
developments. These efforts have led to an increase in the population of the Vineyard Precinct
area, with more families and businesses choosing to call the region home. Despite this growth
council has remained diligent on the level of growth being the first precinct to introduce a
Density Cap on the amount of residents. The council remains committed to preserving the area's
unique character and natural beauty, ensuring that Vineyard Precinct remains an attractive
destination for residents and visitors alike. Through careful planning and community
engagement, the council strives to strike a balance between growth and sustainability, creating
a vibrant and liveable community for years to come.
